Madhesh L
BANKING AND FINANCIAL SERVICES STUDENT

Madhesh hails from a family of farmers. After tragically losing his mother, the struggle to support his family of five became harder. With his father being a daily wage labourer and his younger siblings looking up to him, Madhesh could no longer depend solely on his many part-time gigs, ranging from back-end work at Reliance Trends to the odd painting jobs. Let’s hear how he is overcoming his situation with MicroCollege.

We heard that you have been having a tough time, Madhesh. How are you holding up?
It has been very hard… and stressful. But I am learning to channel it usefully. Here, the counsellors are helping me focus on developing myself. I haven’t been able to take up higher education. Instead, I have been adding several useful technical skills to my resume… coding, SAP, troubleshooting software, and even some basic electronic works.

Glad to hear that you are tackling it so well! What are your next plans?
Next, I need to fix a field and make a career. Now, after talking to the counsellors here, especially Mr. Balasubramaniam, I have decided on a banking career. I hope to land a job this year.

You will do that and more, for sure! All the best, Madhesh!
