Growth happens outside your comfort zone, as Shanthni says. This is the thinking that helped her crack her first high-pay job!

Shanthni, from Erode, was dissatisfied with her job at the auditor’s office. It didn’t give her any opportunity to learn and grow. She decided on a career in banking and trusted MicroCollege to get her her first banking job. Just two months into the course, Shanthni is officially an employee of ESAF Small Finance Bank!

Shanthni, you landed a banking job even before you finished the course! How did you do that?
“ITo grow fast, we have to keep trying to overcome our challenges. For example, communication is hard for me… and I have always studied in girls-only classes. When I came for classes here, I found it difficult. We were required to give presentations regularly in class. When my turn came, I was nervous. On top of that, technical difficulties came up too! But I slowly worked my way through it. In the end, my instructors gave me very positive feedback!”

Also, interacting with the instructors here has been very valuable. It is interesting and inspiring to hear them speak. I benefited a lot from listening to them.
